Summer Activities!

We have had a lot of fun this summer in Texas. We've had the opportunity to see a lot of things. Here is some pictures from our summer in Texas.

Alligators!

Drew and I decided to go to Brazos Bend State Park this weekend. There they are known for the abundance of wildlife especially alligators. The first 3 hours we spent there all we saw where birds. During the last half hour we were surprised to see many alligators. There are not fences around any of the animals. They are free to roam wherever they like...

Here is one with her mouth wide open. She was very aggressive and not happy about something. This is their nesting season and we assumed she had some babies near by...

Drew's Birthday!

Grandma made a wonderful birthday dinner for Drew the night before we left for Houston. This was Drew's only celebration because on his birthday we drove 15 hours to El Paso. We did go out to Olive Garden that night, however when I told our waitress it was Drew's birthday she didn't understand he wanted dessert. They came and sang to us but didn't bring any ice cream. Drew was quite disappointed!

Texas, here we come...

Drew has received an offer for an internship in Houston, Texas this summer. We will be living with a very generous couple for 3 1/2 months. We are so excited to spend our Saturdays at the beach and exploring Texas. Grandma and Grandpa have been so wonderful helping us move these last few days. We appreciate them so much!

Sunday walk...

Drew and I decided we needed a little fresh air after being inside all weekend watching conference. On our walk we found a shopping cart. Drew insisted I took a ride. We also found a swing outside one of the complexes. We are excited for this semester to end and hopefully to move at the end of this month. We hope to finalize plans this week. Wish us luck!

A Little Bit About Us

Drew and I were married August 8, 2008 in the Las Vegas Temple. We now live in Provo, UT. Drew and I both attend Utah Valley University. Drew will graduate this June with a bachelors in Construction Management. We don't know where we are going after that but are excited for the adventure.
