Hadley is ONE!!

                                             
I can not believe Hadley is already one year old! Time has gone by so fast. On her birthday Hadley had her one year check up. The poor girl got 4 shots. (I'm so mean to schedule that on her birthday.) Then we met Drew at work and went to lunch at a little Mexican restaurant. In the evening Hadley opened one present from us.
We waited to finish celebrating until thanksgiving so that Drew's parents could be there. I made a HOMEMADE chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. (my first time making it completely homemade, it was good!) Hadley enjoyed her cake! Then Hadley was spoiled with lots of presents from family!  She got cute clothes, lots of books, and a toy camera, cell phone, blocks, birthday cake...

Happy Halloween!

To celebrate Halloween we...

1. Carved pumpkins

2. Went to our ward party (Hadley was a Lamb)

3. Passed out candy... to about 5 goups of people

4. Had a little photo shoot... It didn't go too well

Hadley is 11 months!

I can't believe Hadley is going to be a year in one month! The time has gone by so fast.
At 11 months Hadley...

• can take 3 steps
• prefers table food
• is ticklish
• crawls to dad every day when he gets home
• has become a little bit of a difficult eater; she loves to  block the spoon and wont eat very much these days
• is always on the move- changing diapers/clothes can be challenging
• will play with her pacifier- puts it on the side of her mouth and chews on it
• babbles a lot
• makes some really funny noises with her mouth
• can go up one step on the stairs- she doesn't dare go higher
• likes to give "low 5's"
• likes to bend over and look between her legs
• does not like the bath anymore... i dont know what happened.

Whenever our bedroom door is open Hadley goes straight for Dad's water cups.

This summer I went to visit my family in California for a few weeks. Drew was complaining that he was going to be sooo bored. So, I gave him a project. Build me a bed!
After a couple of months it has finally made its way into our room.
I love it!

A little story...

Hadley got her flu shot today. She did so great; didn't even shed a tear! When we got home Hadley was off playing behind the couch. She was pretty quiet so I turned around to check on her. She had taken of her band aid and was eating it! Gross! This girl is just too funny. I love her so much. I'm so grateful I have been blessed with the opportunity to be her mother. She has brought so much joy and excitement into our home!

How can you not LOVE this cute face?

Watching conference with Dad. This was just about the only time
she was quiet during conference. The rest of the time she was playing and screaming!

I had to wake her up from her nap today to go to the doctors.
 I hate doing that! She is just so cute and peaceful!

TEETH

I failed to mention in the previous post that Hadley now has two teeth! This is the best picture I could get.

Hadley is 10 months!

At 10 months Hadley...

• walks around holding on to furniture
• crawls everywhere
• can stand up by herself
• attached to mom
• loves table food
• sometimes cries when I take away something she shouldn't have
• likes to play with the door stoppers and blinds
• has started putting everything in her mouth... especially vey small things that she finds on the floor
• tries to climb on everything






Hadley loves crawling over to the front door and looking out the window!
